Looking for the perfect side dish to bring to Friendsgiving? This is it! There is always tons of food packed with sugar, carbs, cheese and other really yummy but not so good for you dishes so I always try to bring something I know I can feel good about eating but that tastes really good too. Roasted anything is my go to because its so easy to prep, and then just pop in the oven when you get there and it looks so pretty too. The beautiful fall colors of these roasted carrots are the seller and I've had people tell me they don't even like carrots but loved this dish. Plus, unless you're allergic to carrots this side is a crowd please even for vegans.
Suggested Ingredients:
carrots
spices
olive oil
Suggested Spices:
salt
pepper
turmeric
chili power
ginger
rosemary
Preheat oven to 400. Peel the carrots and cut down the middle into quarters. Depending on the size of your carrots you could also leave them whole. Drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle on seasonings and roast for about 20 minutes to desired texture. The longer they cook the sweeter and softer they get.
That's it!
